(Learn to skate)
Lou & Gib Reese Ice Arena Staff and Instructors understand that your child comes to us with unique experiences, learning styles and interests. Our goal is to get to know each child and use this knowledge to teach, guide, and support him or her. We believe that good teaching requires continual professional development, personal reflection and collaboration. Lou and Gib Reese Ice Arena Staff teach all levels, based on the Ice Skating Institute guidelines, and standards. Professional instructors will conduct classes in a positive atmosphere, providing quality instruction and motivation for recreational, hockey, and figure skaters of all ages.
We offer learn-to-skate classes for anyone 3 years old through adult who are interested in learning how to skate and have fun while doing it! Our class brochures are here:
Tuesday Classes
6:00-6:30pm: Tot 1, Tot 2, Tot Advanced, Pre-Alpha, and Adults
6:30-6:45pm: Practice Time for ALL enrolled skaters
6:45-7:30pm: Alpha, Beta, Gamma-Delta
Saturday Classes
8:15-8:45am: Tot 1, Tot 2, Tot Advanced, Pre-Alpha, and Adults
8:45-9:00am: Practice Time for ALL enrolled skaters
9:00-9:45am: Alpha, Beta, Gamma-Delta
